Liters of gas water heater
Gas water heaters do not store water, so the liters of this water heater cannot be compared to those of storage type electric water heaters.
If explained using a scientifically rigorous formula, the "liter" of a gas water heater refers to its hot water flow rate per minute, which is equal to (△ T25 ℃ × X flow rate) ÷ Y set temperature. However, this is not easy to understand. We can simply understand it as the amount of hot water flowing out per minute that meets the corresponding conditions. So we can roughly assume that a 16 liter gas water heater can provide us with the hot water that a 40 liter storage electric water heater would take 40 minutes to burn in just 2.5 minutes.
How many liters is suitable for household gas water heaters
If you insist on me simplifying this number of liters, a home with two bathrooms and a kitchen usually uses an 11 liter gas water heater. However, depending on various conditions, 16 liters is still considered safer.
